Bogor, August 2025 – As part of its commitment to environmental preservation and flood control in the areas surrounding its project sites, PT Kentanix Supra International Tbk (KSIX) has undertaken the construction of the Setu Sela Lake outlet channel (right section) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the field of environmental and infrastructure development.
The project focuses on building a water outlet channel of approximately 140 meters in length, connecting Setu Sela Lake to Kali Cibuluh. The scope of work includes the construction of gabion walls, concrete retaining structures, and channel bed reinforcement to stabilize embankments and ensure smooth water flow.
This initiative reflects KSIX’s concern for the environmental conditions surrounding the Vila Bogor Indah residential development area, while also helping local communities address potential flooding and erosion caused by uncontrolled water discharge.
Beyond its direct benefits to the community, this activity also contributes to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
With the completion of this 140-meter segment, KSIX remains committed to continuing the next phase — an additional ±300-meter channel extension — to further enhance the drainage system’s effectiveness in the surrounding area.
